Heritage Working Group Letter to City of Ottawa

In July 2020, the Heritage Working Group send a letter to the City of Ottawa’s Heritage Planning Department with a list of several recommendations. The CCA recommended that:

  • That the city consider a more nuanced classification scheme for its historic properties;

  • That the boundaries of the proposed Dundonald Park Heritage Conservation District (HCD) be enlarged;

  • That the Golden Triangle neighbourhood be considered for HCD status;

  • That city staff continues to engage with the public before recommendations go to city council.
