The CCA’s Transportation Committee works to ensure that our community continues to be a safe and people-friendly place for all, whether on foot, on a bike, or aboard public transit.

Our mandate includes:

• Promoting active transportation networks throughout Centretown;

• Advocating for a “Complete Streets” approach to planning, by creating streets that are designed to make it easy for all users of all ages and abilities to cross the street, walk to shops, and bicycle to work;

• Pushing for greater walkability throughout Centretown, ensuring that sidewalks are safe and navigable during all four seasons;

• Ensuring that public transit in Centretown is safe, reliable, and accessible for all.
