August 2023

Hello Centretowners,

After a brief hiatus in July the Centretown Community Association is back in full swing of neighborhood matters. We hope you got the chance to walk, cycle, or even run to the Elgin Farmers' Market on a lovely summer Sunday. The Market is operating every Sunday until October 29 and is full with vendors, artists, and neighbors. There's a Yoga class at 10 AM offered by Cattleya Yoga, followed by a guided tour of the area at 11 AM with CCA's Jack Hanna.

Perhaps you took the time to enjoy the Queen Elizabeth Driveway in new ways: walking, rollerblading, or relaxing along the canal, while the QED is closed to vehicular traffic. Whether you support or oppose a continued dedication of the QED to active and alternative modes of transportation, we would love to hear from you at transportation@centretowncitizens.ca.
