History Walking Tour: Canal and Communities

Join us Sunday, August 25 to explore the villages that once occupied the lands now known as Centretown, and the story of the people who built the Rideau Canal. We tell stories of Indigenous people and some of those for whom streets are named (including a widow's many kids). Meet at the Elgin Street Market, at Elgin and Waverley, at 11:00 a.m. The walk is 1.2 kms. and takes about one hour.
